THACO AGRI employees in Laos and Cambodia are vaccinated against Covid-19

In order to ensure the safety of Vietnamese employees working at Lao Agricultural Complex and Koun Mom Agricultural Complex (Cambodia), THACO AGRI Company has coordinated with the Health Departments of Laos and Cambodia to conduct Covid-19 vaccine injection for employees.

At Laos Agricultural Complex, THACO AGRI currently has about 800 Vietnamese workers. According to the support policy of the Laos’s Government, there were 372 employees voluntarily injected the Covid-19 vaccine free of charge, divided into 2 phases: the first one on May 10, 2021, after injection the employee's health stabilized and on June 8, 2021, the second round of vaccination was continued.

At Koun Mom Agricultural Complex, the company contacted the Rattanakiri Department of Health to buy Covid-19 vaccine. As of June 5, 2021, 70 Vietnamese employees have been vaccinated. In the upcoming plan, the company will continue to work with the Rattanakiri Provincial Department of Health to vaccinate all 888 employees with a total cost of 44,400 USD. The implementation time according to the vaccine supply schedule of the Rattanakiri Department of Health is expected to be early July 2021.

THACO AGRI in Laos and Cambodia also work with authorities to inject Covid-19 vaccines for indigenous workers working in agricultural complexes according to the policy of free vaccination for people of the two governments.
