ABOUT THACO AGRI
Truong Hai Agricultural Joint Stock Company (THACO AGRI), established in 2019, is a member corporation of THACO, operating in the agricultural production and business sector with an initial charter capital of VND 15,000 billion.
THACO AGRI implements a strategy of producing integrated/circular agriculture based on organic principles with large scale and industrial characteristics on an area of 84,000 hectares across three countries: Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
Establishing large-scale integrated/circular agricultural production complexes focusing on key areas of production and business to supply the market with organic-based agricultural products (fresh and processed) for export with high productivity and quality, including:
• Banana and pineapple monoculture on a large scale with high output; supplying fresh fruits and products derived from bananas and pineapples; Cattle farming (breeder cattle, calves & semi-grazing feeder cattle, centralized fattened feeder cattle) combined with fruit trees production (durian, mango, pomelo), raising swiftlets and crocodile;
• Developing integrated projects for crop production and cattle farming at the Complex;
• Investing in R&D centers and experimental farms to conduct research and apply biotechnology and advanced techniques in agriculture; Utilizing on-site renewable energy sources (solar power, biogas, wind power);
• Investing in large-scale integrated farms for high-tech swine farming production based on the value chain: great-grandparent, grandparent, parent swine and market hog integrating forestry planting and the use of renewable energy, ensuring environmental protection, biosecurity, improved productivity and cost optimization.
THACO AGRI operates diverse agricultural production types, including cultivation, livestock farming, and industrial production, all concentrated in one location. The investment in integrated cultivation and livestock farming enterprises ensures biosecurity and disease control. By-products from cultivation are utilized as fertilizers and animal feed, while by-products livestock farming generates materials for organic fertilizers to support cultivation. Additionally, THACO AGRI invests in on-site production lines for agricultural supplies, machinery, and equipment, applying comprehensive mechanization and advanced technology throughout the production chain. THACO AGRI also organizes the preliminary processing and processing of fruits as well as by-products from cultivation and livestock farming to enhance product value.
