THACO HANDS OVER THE SWINE RAISING MANAGEMENT REGULATION TO THACO AGRI
On Dec. 16, THACO Internal Audit and Inspection Department handed over the Swine Raising Management Regulation to leaders and representatives of THAGRI Livestock. Accordingly, such regulations will be applied at pig farms of THACO AGRI. The newly issued regulation will be a tool to help THACO AGRI manage and operate pig raising activities at farms, ensure the output quality and improve livestock raising efficiency.
In addition, the regulation provides detailed instructions on pig raising activities for employees at pig farms with specific regulations, processes, instructions, and forms. Noticeably, it emphasizes key activities such as livestock production cycle, breed and genetic management, biosafety control, veterinary practice and epidemic prevention, animal feed management, drinking water, vaccines, drugs and livestock supplies, techniques of pig raising and caring to ensure output quality.
Pig farming highlights of THACO AGRI in 2022:
- Established Thagri Livestock Company Limited specializing in pig raising and animal feed production.
- Total pig herd in 2022 has reached 55,500 heads, an increase of 24,500 heads compared to 2021.
Key pig farming business plan in 2023:
- Developing a new farm in Ea H'leo Complex (Dak Lak) with a total scale of nearly 160,000 pigs.
- THACO AGRI's total herd in 2023 expects to reach 217,000 heads.
