During 2024’s third quarter, THACO AGRI significantly expanded its workforce by hiring over 6,100 new employees. The new recruits, filling technical, production, and management roles, will be working across various units in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, including 30 at the Head Office in Gia Lai, 1,886 at the Snuol Complex, 2,110 at the Koun Mom Complex, 1,685 at the HAGL AGRICO Laos Complex, 304 at the Central Highlands Complex, and 123 at the Livestock Corporation.
THACO AGRI has been enhancing its employee welfare policies, offering performance-based salaries and comprehensive insurance coverage. The company is committed to improving the quality of life for its employees by building modern, well-equipped housing, medical clinics with free services, and transportation for daily commutes and holiday travel. They also provide free meals and open convenience stores for employees. At the Snuol, Koun Mom (Cambodia), and HAGL AGRICO Laos complexes, new RO water filtration systems are installed to ensure access to clean drinking water.
What’s more, the company regularly organizes cultural and sports activities to enhance employee exchange and cohesion, giving them motivation to meet the company's growth goals.
Mr. Jethro Alenabon, a Filipino Technical Packaging Manager at the HAGL AGRICO Laos Complex, remarked, "Despite being here for just two months, I find the working environment highly professional, with excellent and attractive benefits that enable me to contribute fully to the development of the complex and THACO AGRI as a whole."
Starting to work at the Gia Lai Head Office in September 2024, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thach, a Procurement Specialist, expressed his gratitude for the company's support. "As someone far from home, I am touched by the care THACO AGRI's leadership has given to their employees. The company arranged accommodation close to my workplace, allowing me to save commuting time and quickly adapt to the new working environment," he said.
Another employee, Mr. Tran Viet Tien, a Cattle Care Worker at the Ea H’Leo Cattle Breeding Enterprise, highlighted the learning opportunities at THACO AGRI. "I have learned a lot of new knowledge about cattle breeding and had the opportunity to apply this knowledge in my work. I will keep on learning to improve my skills, giving my part to the company’s development," he shared.
THACO AGRI plans to recruit nearly 9,000 new employees in Q4 2024, including over 800 positions for experts and engineers in fields such as animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, agriculture, mechanics, industrial production, and utilities. The company is also seeking to attract international experts to enhance its workforce quality.
THACO AGRI aims to recruit 21,000 new employees by 2025, bringing its total workforce to over 52,000. To meet this target, departments and units must collaborate with the Human Resources Department to expand the recruitment network and select candidates who meet the criteria for each position and align with the company's culture.
