THACO AGRI organizes Business and Management Plan Conference for 2024’s second half
On July 10, THACO AGRI convened a conference in Gia Lai to outline operational and management plans for the second half of 2024. In attendance were THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong, members of the THACO and THACO AGRI Boards, and nearly 200 employees representing THACO AGRI complexes, corporations, subsidiaries, corporate functions, management, THADICONS A&I, and THADIDESIGN.
As the second year of THACO AGRI's five-year plan (2023-2027), 2024 is an important year for the company. Key focus areas include investing in construction, expanding banana cultivation, and developing cattle herds alongside fruit trees. Additionally, THACO AGRI is committed to strengthening human resources by cultivating a skilled workforce of leaders and managers for both production and administrative roles.
In production and business operations, in 2023 and the first half of 2024, THACO AGRI focused on planning, construction, and establishing crop and livestock production models for its enterprises and farms.
The latter half of 2024 and the entirety of 2025 will focus on scaling up and refining the integrated, circular agricultural production model. This phase aims to achieve industrial-level production while ensuring enterprises meet productivity, quality, and efficiency targets.
In 2026 and 2027, THACO AGRI will finalize its five-year strategic objectives by boosting output, stabilizing product quality, and increasing profitability. This period will focus on establishing an integrated, circular agricultural economy while ensuring overall production and business operations achieve optimal productivity, quality, and efficiency.
In management, implement a comprehensive performance evaluation system to determine salary levels and job roles based on employee skills. Strengthen recruitment and training initiatives to build a workforce aligned with production needs. Optimize the leadership structure across three management levels.
Optimize unit and department performance through effective KPI management, prioritizing productivity, quality, cost reduction, and profitability.
Finalize the legal infrastructure for large-scale agricultural investment projects.
Continue investing in facilities and infrastructure while optimizing utility services. Prioritize employee well-being through aligned human resource development and operational strategies.
Enhance orientation training and internal communication, with a particular focus on Cambodian and Laotian employees. Expand cultural, physical fitness, and sports programs to enrich employee well-being and morale across all complexes and enterprises.
At the conference, division heads and THACO AGRI's management board presented operational and management plans, organizational structures, and position descriptions for the second half of the year.
At the conference, THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong stressed the importance of the final six months of 2024 for THACO AGRI. He emphasized the need to align all actions with the company's strategic objectives. Central to agricultural production is circular integration, which requires the synchronized implementation of crop or livestock production, construction, machinery, industry, investment, human resources, and organizational development.
Leadership and management must exemplify dedication, proactivity, and strong leadership to inspire their teams. The focus will be on cultivating a highly skilled workforce capable of driving revenue growth.
Following the conference, division, complex, and corporation leaders will assign specific objectives to their respective teams to execute and achieve the outlined goals for the second half of 2024.
