Quang Nam authorities visit HAGL AGRICO Laos complex
A delegation from the Quang Nam Provincial People’s Committee visited the HAGL AGRICO Laos complex on August 7 during their working trip to southern Laos. Led by Mr. Thieu Viet Dung, the Deputy Head of the Provincial Economic and Industrial Zones Management Board, the group explored the complex’s operations.
Mr. Doan Ba Phi, the complex’s General Director, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and provided an overview of the complex's agricultural operations.
Mr. Thieu Viet Dung highlighted THACO AGRI’s Southern Lao Agricultural Company's role in driving economic growth in Attapeu and Sekong provinces. He emphasized its contributions to job creation, improved livelihoods for local residents, and the attraction of investment and infrastructure development, enhancing the region's competitiveness in both domestic and global markets. He also commended the complex's professional working atmosphere and expressed confidence in the project's significant growth prospects.
The delegation toured the BSA1 (04) Banana Packing Factory, the employee housing facilities, and the BSA Cattle Breeding Enterprise.
