Permanent Deputy Prime Minister - Mr. Truong Hoa Binh visited the project of high-tech pig breeding company Viet Dan Tin
On February 27, on the occasion of his working visit to An Giang, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister - Mr. Truong Hoa Binh and the Government delegation, ministries and central agencies visited the project of Viet Dan Tinh Bien Hi-tech breeding pig Company, located in An Cu commune, Tinh Bien district.
Up to now, after 9 months of construction, the pig farm has been basically completed and is expected to be put into the 1st operation phase in June 2021 with a design capacity of 5,600 great-grandparents pigs imported from Denmark. In 2021, the farm will build the 2nd phase with a capacity of 5,600 pigs, increasing the total capacity to 11,200 pigs.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, with natural incentives, An Giang has advantages and fiscal space for economic development, especially high-tech agricultural development.
“Developing high-tech agriculture is an inevitable trend in modern agricultural production. This is a solution to create safe, productive, quality and highly competitive agricultural products, contributing to promoting agricultural restructuring”, said the Deputy Prime Minister.
According to the orientation, THACO will develop 04 pig farms in An Giang with the capacity of 192,000 pigs for sale in the Southwest and Cambodia markets. In particular, if An Giang has advantages of land fund, the company will focus on investing in other projects to ensure the uniformity of THACO AGRI's livestock production area planning.
