HAGL Agrico Laos cultivates clean vegetables to improve workers' meals
To ensure clean food for the workers' kitchen, HAGL Agrico Laos Complex has formed eight vegetable gardens at its office, banana farms (BSA1, TNSA2, DNSA, and Namkong1), and the SS BSA Cattle Breeding Farm.
HAGL Agrico Laos pays attention to expanding the vegetable growing area, aiming for a self-sufficient food supply model. The gardens grow vegetables used in daily meals, such as water spinach, mustard greens, lettuce, gourds, pumpkins, and luffa.
The gardens are maintained by HAGL Agrico Laos employees, combining traditional methods with scientific planting and care processes, using organic fertilizers sourced from available cattle manure. So, workers' meals are fresh and safe.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son, a worker at the BSA1 banana farm, shared, "The vegetables we grow are clean and fresh, helping us stay healthy for work."
In the near future, HAGL Agrico Laos Complex is to continue expanding the vegetable area, diversifying food sources, and applying new technologies to enhance their workers' meals.
