HAGL AGRICO attends 2025 Vietnam-Laos Investment Cooperation Conference
On January 9, in Vientiane, capital of Laos, the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment, in collaboration with the Lao Ministry of Planning and Investment and relevant ministries, organized the 2025 Vietnam-Laos Investment Cooperation Conference themed "For Sustainable and Prosperous Mutual Development". THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong attended the event.
At the conference, representatives from well-established businesses of both countries reported the investment cooperation of Vietnamese businesses in Laos, new key orientations in their bilateral cooperation, and Laos' policies for attracting foreign investment. THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong presented the strategy and plan for large-scale agricultural development in Attapeu and Sekong provinces (Laos), with a particular emphasis on the Industrial Park and Logistics Center invested by Southern Laos Agri Company during 2025 - 2028.
During the conference (from January 8 to 10), THACO AGRI's HAGL AGRICO Laos showcased a booth introducing models of technical infrastructure projects and land-based constructions, its large-scale integrated and circular agricultural production activities, and fruit products such as bananas and pomelos. This served as an opportunity for HAGL AGRICO Laos to promote its brand and agricultural products to partners, investors, businesses, and consumers, seeking ways to expand cooperation and production scale in Laos.
