Governor of Kratie province visited Snuol complex and gave 5,200 dosed of covid-19 vaccine.

On July 28, 2021, Mr. Va Thon - Kratie province’ Governor and a delegation including Director of Provincial Public Security, Director of the Department of Forestry, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture, Chairman of Snoul District visited Snuol Agricultural Complex. Mr. Nguyen Phu Quan - General Director of Snuol Agricultural Complex welcomed the delegation. After visiting the farm and banana packing factories, the Governor of Kratie province donated 5,200 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to Snuol Agricultural Complex in order to create conditions to support Vietnamese enterprises to ensure production activities. Along with the support, Mr. Va Thon also directed the district leaders and the Department of Health to organize and send a team of experts to administer vaccines at the Company.

In Snuol, as of July 28, 2021, the total number of Covid-19 infections is 65 people, 15 have been cured. The outbreak point in Okoki village (near Lot 123, ERC Company), Kronhuong Sen Chey commune, Snuol district has been suppressed so far, the village has operated normally. The outbreak point at K3 market (30km from the project) has been contained and controlled. Assessing the general situation in Snuol district and communes around the project, the number of new Covid-19 infections is small, mainly in the district center (45km from the project).

On July 26, 2021, the Snuol district government conducted mass vaccination for the entire population in the district. Simultaneously, the company also mobilized and organized for local staff in Snuol district to vaccinate following the vaccination program of the Cambodian Government, injecting 60-80 of employees.

Epidemic prevention at Snuol Agricultural Complex is still closely directed by the leadership to strictly control and ensure a safe area for the project's production.
